Silversmithing
H. Theophile brings rare expertise to custom hardware production with silversmithing techniques including lost-wax casting, filigree work, sterling silver repoussé, sterling silver inlay and overlay, the latter a technique which encases designs in 925 sterling silver foil and was popular in the early 19th century. We show most of our design in our signature polished silver finish.

Our signature finishing of many pieces includes hours of chasing by hand as seen in this filigreed knob, backplate and thumb turn based on Robert Adam’s period fittings at Kenwood House, London. Hand chasing adds a level of design and detail, as well as a unique artistic identity to each piece not achievable through any other casting or machining technique.
